I was born on the 24th of june in 1986 in Putten, a small town in the middle of the Netherlands.
In 2009 I graduated in Industrial Product Design from the School of Engineering and Design in Zwolle. During these years I learned how to change a white sheet of paper into a tangible product by equipping myself with several skills, like defining a problem, brainstorming, mindmapping, drawing, drawing in 3D cad, prototyping, testing, evaluating and solving a problem.

My passion is to create contemporary products which can be described as accessible design, just linking usual things to create something unusual.

During my graduation at Present Time William Ramon and I designed the Timetalks for Karlsson clocks. The Timetalks is an example of an unusual thing. Telling time has never been this easy. No complex hands or shiny digits. This clock tells you the time every five minutes in a language (Dutch, English, German, French or Italian) you understand. If you can read, you can tell time.

Currently I work as a product designer for Present Time in Almere, the Netherlands. Several of my designs have been produced and are available worldwide.
